Changes in the Terms of Use

Lately I’ve got a lot of requests for permission to use my scripts on Commercial Projects. While i didn’t care about it at first, it’s looks that a lot of people are planning to make some cash out of RPG Maker games (or at last try) and also the Resources being sold on the RPG Maker Web. Then I thought: “if people want to make money using my work, why shouldn’t I?”. Making some extra cash while doing something useful and fun isn’t bad, so I decided to change the term of use to include a clause that cover commercial license. Yeah, i’m going to sell licenses to use my scripts in commercial projects.
Those who already had my permission to use the scripts on commercial projects still have it. So there’s no need to get the license.

For non-commercial projects the terms do not change.

Cooperation Skills

Here comes anothe script that a lot of people asked for: the Cooperation Skills allows battlers to join and make attacks together. Like in games like Chrono Trigger and Suikoden.
Also the Animated Battle got a very big update. The basic structure of the script was severely improved wich allowed me to open new possibilities with some commands, being the main of them the condition command, that allows to use script call conditions inside actions.

VE – Toggle Target

The Toggle Target script allows to setup certain action to have a option to toggle the targets of the action. You can switch between single/all targers or between allies/opponents. You can also setup actions to deal less damage if targeting all or have them to have the damage divided by the number of targets.

VE – Materia System

The Materia System script was developed as a commission request, but the requester decided to share it pubicly. The materia system is the Final Fantasy 7, you can attch materias to weapons and armors to gain skills, status boost and other special effects.

VE – Leap Attack

Here comes the last script of the year. The Leap Attack allows to create skills with the effect of the Final Fantasy Jump command used by Dragoons. This year started great and ended like the worst shit. 2012 i will not miss you.

VE – Counter Options

The Counter Options script allows to setup wich actions will be used on counter attacks. Also don’t forget to check the update of the Active Time Battle, it brings a lot of major fixes and new features. Why no christmas quotation beside this? Simply, because i hate christmas! =D
